Simon Faulkner
Simon is a highly respected and experienced agronomist and consultant in a career that has spanned over 30 years. Having initially started out in an arable, vegetable and lettuce business, his career progressed into the potato industry, where he worked for a family business. Simon was employed with the Produce World Group for 23 years. During those years Simon gained extensive experience in numerous sectors. These included seed management, potato production, agronomy, potato storage as well as marketing.
His experience has not been limited to the UK as he had responsibility for potato production in Spain and procurement experience with Israel, Egypt, Cyprus and France.
Simon formed SDF Agriculture in 2015 with the objective to advise growers in sustainable production; highlighting and identifying the challenges ahead and how best to overcome them.
Simon is BASIS, FACTS and Store Management qualified.
